So I was peeking all over the Internet to find things to place up here when all of a sudden I remember some very cool pictures that I saw in a book I'm reading. And then someone made a Lego version of the 2d not-possible-to-make painting! So isn't that just grand? If you are curious who the artist is, it's Escher. Just go Google 'Escher' and you should come up with some information about him. Talking about Google, you could try using this search engine. And since we're talking about Google, lets talk about Google Talk. It's basically a version of Skype that runs on a Google server and allows you to message people and call them. Obviously, by the name, it is created by Google. Anyways, lets move on. Oh, here's a real wimp that can entertain you with constant new updates of things found over the Internet. Well, that's my three cents for the day, aite I'm out everyone.

The graphics are very well-done and reminds me of Shrek. Hmm, that reminds me, I feel like watching Shrek right about now, even though I've seen it a billion times. Basically you whack the peasants to get gold for the greedy, evil king. You're the BLACK KNIGHT! Woohoo, go go and fight! I usually get to level 3, sometimes 4 and then I lose. Rawr.

Fight Meh!
Well, not fight me but close enough. This is geek fighter (very limited game, but shortly entertaining. The keys are "K" (to punch) and "L" (to kick). Kicking takes puts you in a position where you're very vulnerable and it takes longer to run away than to just punch. You can pick up weapons using the punch key (K). There are three scenes to play on and each of those levels have different weapons. Once in a while health packets will drop from the sky disguised as a turkey (for the forest), a soda (for the city), and a fish (for the beach). The forest has the most weapons (or appears to be, you can't tell if you're moving or not since there is no reference to tell the difference on the beach level so I only found two weapons there).

Pretty old site, but constantly updated with new flash shorts so come by and watch them. Watch out though, there is adult language (which is half the reason it is funny). If you've seen this before and didn't find the shorts any fun, try watching the one in the vault page titled "A PAIR OF PANTS" or "TEXT SUPPORT." If you want the summary of the shorts, if it is even possible to give, I'll give it: a gray, talking squirrel lives with a goth. That's basically it and the shorts are their every day events and stuff along those lines.

So this is your basic platform scrolling game, if you would use the platfom term very loosely. You have 3 hp and at certain areas of the game you get more life (don't count on life gains to keep you going). There is a boss after the third level and I don't know how to beat it and hence I died there. Hold your shield to block all damage, the enemy hit in sequence/pattern.

Okay, I am sorry for not updating Bobdom (although I'm apologizing to no one since no one reads this not even me) for the past six days. I have a million reasons why I haven't which won't matter since you don't really care [to the imaginary reader I have invented]. So getting that out of the picture, I'm going to start the reasons why...

So on the 25th of July and the until Wednesday the 27th, I wasn't supposed to play any games, although I did play The Adventures of Buttlock. The reasons I wasn't supposed to play was because I had a final on SQL(Structured Query Language), which I think most of you don't know exists. And during that time my brother told me to work on a Macromedia Flash webpage for his client, which he then bought a template that was so hard to modify that it took me a couple of hours to alter piece by piece, frame by frame.

Also on the 29th, "yesterday", 9th edition came out! (I'm a geek, I admit it, but since you're reading this, you're not much better eh) so I had to do some reading on the new MTG cards and their rulings. Now a funny article I came across, which was written by a rule manager, talked much about the grammar meaning of cards, and are now cleared even further. Here's the segmented part that I find entertaining:

There were two other significant wording changes to common templates. One is the Giant Spider template. It used to say “Giant Spider may block as though it had flying.” Now it says “Giant Spider can block as though it had flying.”

I know. You totally can't believe it either. Sit down, take some deep breaths. The shock will wear off in a minute or two.

Better? Good. I'll try not to throw bombshells like that at you without a little warning first.

The old wording literally meant “Giant Spider can choose to block as though it had flying,” which was just silly. Spiders have tiny little brains and can scarcely be relied upon to make the correct choice with the game on the line. Under the theory that cards making choices for themselves = bad, these were changed to a wording that means “Giant Spider has the capability to block as though it had flying.” Much better.

This also cleared up an ugly ruling that said that in the face of a potential blocking assignment (such as an incoming Sengir Vampire enchanted with Lure), Giant Spider's controller could choose whether it would block as though it had flying or not. Up in the air or down on the ground? No more of that hogwash. Giant Spider now jumps in front of that Lured Vampire whether it wants to or not.

And just yesterday (AKA one hour ago) I just bought 4 POWDER KEGS (the MTG card) on ebay. And when I didn't think things could get (althought they were never bad) worse when I bought it (I wasn't planning to, just felt like raising the price on the thing). And right now I'm just so bored... wow, taking forever to load... how technology changes...

Platform Scroller
A game
As the bolded words says, this is indeed a platform scroller/action game. This is created in flash and the interface is kind of hard to use but the graphics are good and the gameplay as well. The levels may seem tedious and long because you can easily get lost between going horizontally or vertically (and if you're going vertically you can fall and have to start at point 0). So have fun with this game.

Okay, this is the site you'll be wanting to see. It is NASA satelite images of the moon provided by our "favorite" search engine Google! I knew the moon was made out of cheese! (zoom in the most you can) Yes, you see it yellow too.

oGM a GAME
StinkoMan 20x6! Okay, this is basically a platform scroller game and the point of it is to, well, get through the level. There are currently 7 "levels". Each of the levels are separated into 3 parts, x.1, x.2, and x.3. x.3 is the boss of the level. The cutscenes are fun to watch, yet make no sense whatsoever. Each level should be more difficult than the last (and sometimes longer). If you fall off or if your 4 hp becomes 0, you lose a life and have to restart that level. When you reach 0 lives you have to go back to the main menu so if you were on a boss you would have to start on the x.2 and go to x.3 which is really annoying. I spent over an hour playing this game already o_O. The music is also catchy =).
